Hi,
A customer has mixed VMS5.5-2 and VAX 6.0 cluster environment. They are
looking for Polycenter Consolemanager for eliminating paper on console
and alerting important messages on consoles.
I believe Console Manager logs all console messages from all cluster
nodes. Is it possible to log console message for non-cluster nodes in
the network.
Could it log HSC/HSJ console message to Polycenter Console Manager?
Is there any interface to a paging system to alert important events
happened on the cluster? Or send mails to notify diskspace or disk
errors?

Hi, From what you describe, PCM will do everything your customer wants and more... Can I suggest that you read the SPD and User guide, this will give you and your customer a better understanding of what the product can and cannot do. Cheers, Phil | |||||

I see you are in the Hong Kong office. Talk to Stanley Yu about the set
up at the Jockey Club. They already do what you want. You may even be
able to use them as a reference site.
