752.0. "Mbx : CONSOLE$ENSACTIONTERM not empty..." by KETJE::GEORGES (With Digital, NO problems ONLY Solutions.) Mon May 22 1995 16:08
Hi PCM gurus,
I just remarked, by monitoring the mailboxes, that the one named
CONSOLE$ENSACTIONTERM is not always read, right now, after 3 hours of
activities, there are 4 waiting messages in that mailbox.
Wich process is in charge of that mailbox ?
Is that normal, do I have quota problems, is my management platform
going to block, ...
Dominique.

| That is the action routine termination mailbox. ENS a.k.a. the CONSOLE
NOTIFY process is supposed to read this mailbox. If a lot of actions
terminate then this mailbox could fill up and prevent action routine
processes from fully running down and if you are running a lot of
single-shot actions like Mail or Single-Shot Window several things
could happen such as a system hang or the inability to login or start
any other processes because your out of process slots.
Regs,
Dan
