We have had a problem here where the process that was running an online archive has been killed off. However when we now try to conn/archive or try anything with this node we get the following messages :- From and archive request... Archive procedure for system RDGE61 failed - archive already in progress From a console connect request... System is being archived - operation not currently possible Console manager has been restarted... But the problem still persists.. Please could advise as to how we can clear this situation ... Nigel,
what you need to do is to shutdown PCM and ensure all the User
Interfaces are exited C3 Status programs etc. Then when you restart
the flag will have been reset. We store the flag in shared memory
and it will not be cleared in the bad state whilst an interface is
connected to the section.
