With PCM T1.6-001 on OpenVMS there is a find-option on the C3 window. Why have I to specify the group where a system to belongs to find this system. In the console editor a system name is unique. regards, Gerrit

Gerrit, The intended behavior was that you just select a system from the list and not have to worry about entering a group name with the imbedded '[xxx]' identifiers. These were just for reference purposes. It is possible to have the same system in multiple groups, so in that sense, the names are not unique. I suppose I could look for the name in all groups and 'find' the first name that is encountered. I don't imagine too many users will have the same system in multiple groups. Dave Dave | |||||

Gerrit, OK, you can now enter a system name in the text field and it will locate the system event if it's not in the top view. Dave |
