Hello,

here are some problems occurring to my PCM customer. Any suggestion to solve 
them is very appreciated.

The configuration:

- Transport used on the customer netxwork is TCP/IP 
- DECstation OpnVMS/AXP V.1.6-1H1, RAM 160Mb
- PCM 1.5 vith the ECO installed
- The PCM controls about 6 consoles (OpenVMS and Ultrix systems); the 
DECstation is the main PCM display and the display has both the C3 and the ENS
reporting all the events of all the systems controlled.
- Events coming from specific systems/consoles (ex. the main production system)
have been selected and displayed on a new ENS window on the PC near the
operator using EXCURSION V1.1

The problems:

- The Motif interface on DECstation does not display all the buttons (ex.
cancel, apply, help,...) when the customer is trying to define, e.g, the 
Actions or to add a new system.
- The EN window on PCs crashs when on the PC the operator trys to modify
the "Option" on the menu bar.

The problems:

    If my memory serves me correctly, this is a known bug and is being
    fixed in version 1.6.

    I haven't heard of this one. Is your customer using eXcursion?
    I've just tried what you described and I cannot get it to fail.

Dave,

yes my customer is using eXcursion 1.1. The real problem is that the customer
likes very much to play with the softare and (I suppose) maybe the customer has
changed something (and the customer does not remember what or he does not want
to tell us). I can ensure you that the problem is real as I have seen the crash
of the EN window on the PC.

In the meanwhile,I am asking the customer to move to the next release of
eXcursion; maybe the new installation can reset some dirty situation.

Regarding the missing button on the Motif interface, when the PCM version 1.6
will be available to the customer? I would like to give them the offical kit,
and not the FT.
