    	Hi,

I need some information on CONSOLE EXTRACT.
    	In the CONSOLE$LOGFILES I find a CONSOLEMANAGER.LOG,
    	CONSOLEMANAGER.TIMES and a CONSOLEMANAGER.EVENTS file.
Is there a way to extract this information. For instance
I want to see when an archive was started.
    	I tried :
    	$ console extract /before=today consolemanager
    	POLYCENTER Console Manager
    	Extract facility Version V1.5-006

Host CONSOLEMANAGER is not in database or access not authoriized

    	Any help is welcome.

    	Thanks & rgds,

    	Geert

    Geert,

Is 'consolemanager' a valid system in the configuration database?
What PCm is looking for is a list of systems names. If you issue a
command ' console status/all', it will show you a list of all active
systems being monitored. You can then select from this list.

    Dave,
What Geert is talking about is being able to extract the info
from the ConsoleManager logfiles that the parent daemon manages. It's
analagous to the VCS command VCS REVIEW VCS! I beleive Phil fixed this
    one for the next release.

Guys,
yes I put a fix in for the next release you will see this in V1.6. It was a
small oversight as our priv checking was looking in the database for a system
called "ConsoleManager rather than special casing this one name.

Bear in Mind that the keyword ConsoleManager is reserved. There must not be a
managed system with that name!!

Cheers SImon...
