672.0. "ens eventlist font too small" by CX3PST::ANASAZ::J_BECKER (There's no substitute for a good boot) Tue Apr 11 1995 01:30

If I create an event list and double click on the line in the event list window that I
want more information on (specifically show context for select event), the subsequent
window's font for the "Event Context" is too small. How do I set the font to a larger
size?

thanks
jb

ps i already set the font in the options/startup window. The event list window's fonts
change but this subwindows event context font does not.

jb,

You cant I am afraid, we use the "fixed" font because we know its
going to exist on the users system and because it is fixed all the
text lines will be aligned correctly when displayed.

    jb, Phil,

I remember working on a fix to change the font size. It looked for
a larger fixed type font (the exact name of which I can't remember)
and if it wasn't found, it defaulted to the small 'fixed' font.
Odds are that if you are not running the latest kit with the latest
mup, then you don't have the larger fixed font. If you want, i can look
into the code and see what the font name is.

Dave,

This is the EVENTLIST that John is talking about, I dont think you fixed
anything in there, thats ** MY ** code (unless you want to support it that
  is ;-)).

If you did something in the history stuff, let me know what you did and if
I get time for V1.6 I will put the same fix into the eventlist code.

Phil

    Phil,

Correct, it was in the history event list. I just looked in the
code and found where the changes were made. Just look for the text
string 'Fix 003' in cm_history.c. It will see where 2 blocks of code
    were added.

jb, an ipmt would seem excessive, as I thought these were reserved for
    show-stoppers.
