Hello ,

I would be grateful for any information or pointers on the following problem.

We have a customer attempting an installation and seeing the errors below:

The customer is running V6.1 of VMS with PCM V1.5 and without DECWindows.

Is it possible that someone can confirm whether PCM V1.5 has any requirment for
Motif, checking the SPD, it is not listed as a pre-req for install on OpenVMS.
But the installation does check for decw$dxmlibshr.exe ???

I have the full log of the installation and there are no errors returned.

Any help greatfully recieved.

Hi,

Unfortunately, due to an oversight when we built the kits, we actually need
the decwindows components to be present on the system and installed in order
to use the software.

This is something I plan to fix in a future release, but for now you should
get your customer to install the DECwindows Motif components.

Cheers,
Phil
