576.0. "lose 1 line when using 'Prev Screen' in monitor interface" by BACHUS::WILLEMSG (Geert Willems MCS-Belgium) Wed Jan 25 1995 09:57

	Hello PCM engineering,

I want to report a problem with the monitor interface.

You lose one line per page when you use 'Prev Screen'
	and 'Next Screen'
Via 'UP 1' and 'DOWN 1' you can see the missing line.

I wrote a little counter program that prints from 1 to 120.

This is the last page seen in the monitor interface after
executing the little test program :
	I see 20 lines -->  from 102-$

I have recreated this problem on vax and axp.

Any ideas on the fix time. I have a customer that needs this behavior
fixed. I have given them the UP 1 and DOWN 1 workaround but they are
resisting special procedures for their operators to fix this.

thanks

If you guys would like to escalate this problem via IPMT, we will schedule
the work to fix this.

Sorry to have to tell you to do this, but we only have a finite amount of
resources to do this stuff, so we have to concentrate on officially elevated
calls.

Cheers,
Phil
