HELLO,

One of our customer has the following problem when doing RECONFIGURE with the
Polycenter Console Manager on a Vax 4000-90 & Open VMS V6.1.

The CM fails with an Access Violation as following:

	David, Could we have an export of your customers database before and after the changes they made before performing the reconfigure. Cheers, Phil

	David, could you also tell us whether the MUP or ECO have been installed. You can tell this from the version ident which gets displayed. e.g. $ console c3 POLYCENTER Console Manager C3 Version V1.5-006 Copyright (c) 1994 Digital Equipment Corporation. All Rights Reserved Cheers simon...

	$ CONSOLE C3 doesn't give the version; but with an analyze of the image says the version to be v 1.5-002. For the Data base it will not be possible to access it because of "national security" ... (the customer is the army). We found also another problem when using C3 : Extract/review used with /before or /since opens a nice window a then hangs . Thanks in advance, David.

	David, You are running the SSB release, please install the MUP and see if that helps. Cheers, Phil

	David, please install the Mandaatory Upgrade as this has many fixes included. The image versions should then be 1.5-006. If you are in the CSC the MUP is now on TIMA. Otherwise you can get a copy from: OPG::cm$kits:CONSOLEMUPA015.% If we still have a problem this could be difficult if we cannot get access to what is causing the failure!! Cheers Simon....
