Hello everyone, I need to know How much traffic the PCM software generates over a WAN using a Terminal server on the other end where are connected the devices to be managed. Do I need to evaluate only the information arriving on the console on each devices or there also an overhead related to PCM (Keep alive timer, testing, etc...) Thank you Francois

Francois, In a WAN, we use the TELNET TCP/IP protocol, so whatever overhead that has, plus the volume of console data you are sending. As for actual figures, well, that depends on what you are managing and how much data it produces. Cheers, Phil |
