461.2 | The answer for Motif | WOTVAX::ELLISM | Are you all sitting too comfybold square on your botty? - Then w | Wed Nov 02 1994 07:06 | 9 |
| The way you do it from Motif is to turn the C3 editor on then use MB3
on the system that you want to set up the break key on. One option you
will get is Modify, select it.
You will now be able to define the break key.
Don't know about the character cell interface (Sorry Tony)

Martin is corect for the C3, in the case of the character
cell interface, you should use the initialization file,
create a file in either SYS$LOGIN, or CONSOLE$USER_DEFAULTS
and place in it any of the Monitor commands that you want
executed each time you start the Monitor interface, this
file is also use by the Connect interface and so should
achieve the result you desire.

Phil

Take a look at section 6.3 page 6-24 it explains all about
customizing the monitor and connect interfaces.
