I copied the kit from OPG today and installed on OSF/1 v2.0. The installation went without any problems and I rebuilt the kernel, moved the config file to the correct location and rebooted. PCM does start at boot time but when I start the C3 window, it crawls along. Performance from the C3 is unusable and when I select the option for Console Manager, the option to startup console manager is available while the option to shutdown is unavailable. I have shutdown/rebooted, killed off process's etc but I cannot rectify this problem. Any help would be appreciated. Dave

Dave, for some reason your control daemons are exiting shortly after starting. Please export your database file and send me a copy by mail. I shall have a look at it for you. Mail me on elbrig::sdj Cheers Simon...
403.2 | Invalid connection address - fixed in ECO | DARGLE::COUGHLAN | Thu Sep 15 1994 12:20 | 7
The problem was caused by adding a system with invalid data for the connection type etc. When I deleted the invalid node, performance immediately improved. I see this problem is now fixed with the recent ECO. Thanks for your help. Dave |
