| Andy,
Where did you get the impression that you could archive a set
of systems?
The documentation show that you can use a single system name
or either of the keywords ALL and CONSOLEMANAGER

Phil

Archiving can be done in the following ways:
o Archive the oldest n hours and keep the rest
o Retain the latest n hours and archive the rest
o Specify an absolute time for cut off
If the keyword ALL is used as a system name, all files are
archived.
To archive multiple systems, specify the system names on the
command line separated by a comma (",").

Ok,Ok, I take your point, I missed that paragraph in the
documentation, however, it should not be there, the code
in no way supports the use of multiple system names!
So, this is a bug in the documentation.

Phil

| Phil,
The C3 behaves like the documentation, allowing multiple
systems to be archived as well. Seems like it's the correct thing to
do.

Dave

Another one for the doc writer ....
The user guide and help library state that the syntax for archiving
all systems is ....
CONSOLE ARCHIVE/ALL/....
Well it isn't. The correct syntax is ....
CONSOLE ARCHIVE ALL/.....
