    Chaps,
    
    Using the multi-line event window, if I make any changes in CUSTOMISE,
    except for background colours, then SAVE them - it doesn't!
    
    So, under option "OPTIONS","GENERAL..."
    
    I can change the number of saved events, but not the acknowledge and
    clear strings.
    
    Under Filter, I can't save this at all.
    
    Again this is OpenVMS for AXP V6.1

  Is this running as an action? if so, the directory protection on
  CONSOLE$APP_DEFAULTS is wrong, it should have W:RW take a look
  at that.

        For the 'acknowledge' and 'clear' string override, there is a 
    push button which should be set. Make sure this is enabled or else it 
    will not be saved.
