388.0. "Accvio with Event list on OpenVMS for AXP V6.1" by WOTVAX::ELLISM (Are you all sitting too comfybold square on your botty? - Then w) Mon Sep 05 1994 03:58

    Chaps,

I'm in Oz at the moment, with Optus. We have Console Manager running on
a DEC 7630 running OpenVMS for AXP V6.1

Whenstarting up the C3, we always get the following message :-

    X Toolkit Warning: Urm__FetchLiteral: Can't find literal
    'k_vheader_title_9_text' - MrmNOT_FOUND

But, the C3 starts OK, and displays everything. When we try to modify
the settings for the eventlist, using option Startup, it accvios with
    the following :-

    %SYSTEM-F-ACCVIO, access violation, reason mask=00, virtual address=00000084, PC=007DF888, PS=0000001B

Improperly handled condition, image exit forced.
        Signal arguments: Number = 00000005
                            Name   = 0000000C

Martin,

I added the ability to display the Text of an event
for V1.5, have you upgraded V1.1 to V1.5 as this
message refers to the Text field title in the UID
  file.

Now, if you upgraded, can you remove all the eventlist
UID files from DECW$SYSTEM_DEFAULTS: (There are two sets
  if you installed British English).

If this doesnt work, let me know and I will give you a
new set of UID files (this may be the same sort of problem
as the editor UID file mismatch).

Cheers,
Phil

    Phil,

no, this was a fresh installation of V1.5 from the OPG kit .
We had the editor problem as well, but the UID files fixed that.

Martin,

In OPG::CM$KIT: there is a CONSOLE$EVENTLIST.UID_AXP, do the
same with it as you did with the editor uid file. This is the
British English version, so colour is spelt correctly ;-) but
it wont hurt to place this in the US directory too until we
can get the patch kit out the door.

Cheers,
Phil
