Hello, Is there any restrictions of using Chipcom terminal server with PCM to branch any async devices ? I know that they are running LAT but is it working with PCM. Thank you very much Francois

Francois, If your Chipcom terminal server supports LAT, then it should work, however, we have never tried it. I am sure that you will tell us if it doesnt work. Cheers, Phil | |||||

Bear in mind there are several terminal server vendors that did not have licenses to use LAT protocol but went ahead and marketed terminal server products. I have run into more than one 3rd party server that did not follow the LAT protocol spec and wierd things happened. Your really better off using real decservers. My .02 worth! Dan |
