Hi,

The fix for your crash is to copy the CONSOLE$EDITM.UID_AXP file
from OPG::CM$KIT: and place it in DECW$SYSTEM_DEFAULTS: as
  CONSOLE$EDITM.UID

As for your first question, could you please supply a little more
information about what your are attempting to do.

Cheers,
Phil

When an event occur this is displayed in the ENS window display we need
display variable information (example Username..in the event login
succesfull or decnet address in DECnet message).

I remember in the VCS kit V 1.4 what make this, was possible.

    example:

    PAPE01: Login succesfull Username ROSSI

    Thank in advance

So, are you asking for the actual console text which triggered the event?
If so, try setting the display of Text to on in the customize startup
  settings.

BEWARE: I have said this before, but will say it again, selecting this
feature WILL result in a PERFORMANCE DEGRADATION as the software
has to retrieve this information from the log files.

Cheers,
Phil

P.S. You will need PCM V1.5 installed for this option to be available.

The problem exist again with crash of DECwindow editor PCM (see note
382.1 ), after the copy of the file

        DECW$SYSTEM_DEFAULTS:CONSOLE$EDITM.UID.

        Have you another notice ?

P.S. I remember you that I have installed the PCM V1.5 on ALPHA V 6.1.

        Thanks, Marco/Jose'.

Marco/Jose'

Can you try copying the file again, I think I was in the wrong directory
when I copied the file into cm$kit, so, you got a copy of the original.

Cheers,
Phil
