	PHIL,

	I've phoned to my customer and he said me :

	" I have a park of 30 machines and more in a future
	( VAX stations 3000, 4000, H.P. and SUN under UNIX )

	I want manage all My park with one console VAX (ALPHA station)
	My concurrent license has 100 units.

	how can I do if I want mange them with a second station ? "
	And what can I do if I add stations ?

	SO, you told me with 1 concurrent license, to manage 30 stations
	he has to buy a license with 30*100 units.

	- If he wants add a second station manager, he must buy a second 
	concurrent license with 30*100 units isn't he ?

	- But if he wants to add more stations to be managed, how many units does
	he buy ?

	- Does the fonction "mod units" work on it ?

	- I hope for you the situation is clear for you, for me, it's fogy...

	Please if you have a couple of minutes, answer me.

	FRANCK, Your customer buys ONE (1) CONCURRENT USE license for EACH system he wants to manage (a concurrent use license just happens to be 100 units). So to manage 30 systems he buys 30 CONCURRENT USE or 1 UNLIMITED USE. If the customer then wants to manage an extra system, he buys an extra 1 CONCURRENT USE, or does nothing if he originally bought an UNLIMITED USE license. >> I want manage all My park with one console VAX (ALPHA station) >> My concurrent license has 100 units. No, 30 separate CONCURRENT USE licences, we DO NOT sell licences with multiples of 100 units, this is a business practices issue not a product problem. >> how can I do if I want mange them with a second station ? As I said, above, he either buys 1 CONCURRENT USE licence for each new station, or does nothing if he originally bought an UNLIMITED USE licence. >> - Does the fonction "mod units" work on it ? Not unless the PAK says it has MOD_UNITS, but generally PAKS issued to customers dont have this option. Cheers, Phil
