    I'm using CM V1.5 for OSF/1 for 2 months now.
    It works more or less, with sometimes mysterious hangs, but
    now after rebooting the system,
    no way to start consoled: it strats and core dump after few seconds.
    the /var/opt/console/tmp/consoled.log contains the following message:
    Write error on Local socket /var/opt/console/tmp/CONSOLE_CTRL
    Broken pipe
    
    What does it mean?
    I tried to delete /var/opt/console/tmp/CONSOLE_CTRL and let it create
    by consoled, same result.
    Should I create it in a special way? How?

	Bernard, Send me a copy of your database file ( extract to text) and mail me on elbrig::sdj). All the files in the tmp directory are deleted by a startup anyway. Cheers SImon....
