| Bjorn,
I just copied the OSF/1 kit from opg::cm$kits: and installed it.
It worked fine!!
Did you copy via DECnet to yuor system?
If so did you dcp -i the file??
The reason the file is smalller is that ALL OSF/! setld kits should be
compressed ( to save space on the ConDist, so the OSF/1 is compressed.
This is not done for ULTRIX.
Try again and let me know if tyou still have problems.

The checksum should be as follows:
NSMAXP.tay.dec.com> sum PCM_V15_OSF.TARZ
45686 4150 PCM_V15_OSF.TARZ
Also, if by chance you used ftp somewhere along the line, you should have
set the mode to binary.

| I found that if the PAK's were registered before installation it worked
OK.
