Hi,
OpenVms V6.0, PCM V1.1
Is it possible to monitor your own PCM system ?
How to do this ? Via pseudo terminal ?
Any help is welcome.
Thanks in advance,

Geert, I have a VAXstation. The way I do it is in my SYSTARTUP_VMS.COM $ DEFINE SYS$COMMAND TTA3: ! TTA3 is the DEC423 port on the back $ REPLY/ENA $ DEASSIGN SYS$COMMAND Plug TTA3 into a DECserver I now get all the OPCOM messages I don't get the console prompts, but as I should be sat infront of the machine, and I wont get notified if it goes down anyway, there is no loss! Our VCS system administrator using a KERNEL MODE psuedo terminal program on vcs host (4000-90) which service machines in our lab. It feed data on physical async port (i.g., OPA0) to a psuedo terminal (FTA1). It had run on VMS 5.X, 6.0 and running on 6.1. | |||||
