| Paul,
Did you issue a reconfigure command? If you did, and the icon didn't
go away, then it is a bug. If you could please submit a QAR it would be
appreciated.

| Yes, I did do a reconfigure but only from the C3 could this be the problem?

190.3 | Did reconfig complete? | ZENDIA::DBIGELOW | Innovate, Integrate, Evaporate | Fri Feb 18 1994 19:21 | 11 |
| Paul,
Did you see a 'reconfigure start' and a 'reconfigure end' message
appear in the message window at the bottom of the window? You should
have. To verify that the consiguration took place and successfully
completed, you can do a DCL command 'console status/all. THis show's
all the systems as well. If you see the 'deleted' system there as
well, then the reconfigure didn't work. THe reconfiguration is tighter
in the second field test tape, but still may have a few bugs.

190.4 | I'll try to reproduce. | BBPPDR::ROWELL | Paul Rowell @BBP - OCSDC UK | Fri Feb 18 1994 21:40 | 6 |
| I will try and reproduce the problem on MOnday - I'm at home now and
therefore can't set my display here!
If I can reproduce I will submit QAR

190.5 | Can't Reproduce | BBPPDR::ROWELL | Paul Rowell @BBP - OCSDC UK | Mon Feb 21 1994 10:23 | 6 |
| I can't reproduce the first error - with systems not being deleted.
The second error where the icon bitmaps are different in the C3 editor to the
configuration database is easy to reproduce - Is this the way it is meant to be?

| >>Also if you change the icon picture on the C3 display the configuration database
>>is not updated.
Do you mean...
1) You started the configuration editor and changed the icon, or
2) You changed the icon via the C3 Modify function over an icon when the
C3 is in edit mode.
If Number 1, then I would be very surprised unless you dont have database edit
privilege. If Number 2, this is the intended behavious as each user gets their
own C3 and is able to make any customizations that they want without affecting
anyone else who uses the C3, the configuration database icons are just the
defaults you get presented with when you first start the C3.
Cheers,
Phil

190.7 | I meant 2... | BBPPDR::ROWELL | Paul Rowell @BBP - OCSDC UK | Mon Feb 21 1994 17:45 | 4 |
| Yes I meant option 2) and I like the idea of each user having his/her own
interface - neat!
