Platform: Alpha OSF T2.0 There are problems installing FT2 on this platform: First, is it possible to have the release notes made available prior to installation so that these may be read prior to doing any installation work. Secondly, during the installation, before completing all the list of possible choices of subsets to be installed, it asks for a subset selection as shown below. >>> There may be more optional subsets than can be presented on a single > screen. If this is the case, you can choose subsets screen by screen > or all at once on the last screen. I shall put a copy of the release notes in the kit area. I gather a hard copy did go to the FT sites. The choices bit we have no control over that is the function of setld and how it presents the available subsets. Yes I get caught by it and put the numbers in rather than hitting return for the menu to complete sometimes. I think you must be on an OSF version 2 system or an OSF version 1.2 system as I check for V1.3 of OSF being installed. This is a bug and I need to change it. It is really just a check that someone is not trying to install on an incorrect operating system. Cheers SImon...

Simon, A hardcopy version of the release notes was sent to the sites with the first kit. I don't think (and can almost guarantee) that Norma sent it out with the second tape. Any idea when the install for OSF V2 will be ready. There is another group here that is trying to get this integrated with Netview. Dave
