Hi, I run the EFT1 kit for OSF/1. Just after having reconfigured, I stopped CM. CM is now in the "reconfiguring" state for ever and I can not restart it. # console_startup console_startup already running cannot continue # console -s Unable to shutdown Console Manager, Reconfigure in progress. An other question : Once all the events, listed in the Event List have been cleared, the icon of the associated system on the C3 map remains highlighted. Is this a normal behaviour ? Thanks, _Michel_

Michel,
We put a note in the release notes NOT to use reconfigure in this kit as
it has some strange bugs we are still working on. Now you see why.
You will need to manually stop the cm processes running on the machine. Use
startup and shutdown ONLY for this release. Reconfigure will be fixed by the FT
update.

Simon, Sorry, but the release notes I got with the OSF/1 kit I installed the 10th of January, didn't mention that restriction concerning "Reconfigure". . They seem not to be up-to-date (they refer to Version 1.0, March 1993). I am going to install the latest kit. _Michel_ | |||||
