Hello, I have a problem with EVENT notification in PCM. In VCS you have a configuration and a notification editor. In PCM you have only one ? I created an event VOLVO with console text "Dit is een test". Put it in a scan profile associated with my node and created a filter to specify the action to be taken on the event. I connect to my node BRSSWS and type the console text "Dit is een tekst", but I don't get a colour change in the C3 or an ENS window ? What did I wrong ? I activated the CONSOLE$DEBUG logical but I didn't found any information about the problem. Any help is welcome. Thanks in advance, Geert CM EDIT> show system brssws Full or Brief listing? Geert, I think you need to look at the manuals a bit before putting too many questions in here. Your action dispatches in the filter record have invalid user data being passed for the actions you have specified. The required userdata for each action is documented in the action description. If after reading the docs you still have problems let us know. Cheers Simon......

Phil, Yeah, RTFM. I know but someone has taken my book for a few days and just now I have a free day so I could play with PCM. I will wait on the manual. Thanks anyway. Geert

Gert, You made no mention of a reconfigure command in your base note. If you made any changes to the database, you must reconfigure so that the main console manager process will read in the new database. If this doesn't work, you can try shutting down PCM and restarting. The reconfigure code is new and might be a bit shaky. Dave |
