Hi Folks,
I have a Customer currently using VCS to monitor systems on
multiple sites. They also have the situation of multiple output
displays of events with the monitors on different sites. They have
noticed that when an event occurs all display monitors update with that
event. However if one of display monitors is then used to clear the
event, there is no automatic update of the other monitors. This causes
inconsistant displays and hence confusion at certain times.
Will the ConsoleManager product incorporate a feature to deal with
keeping displays consistant?

And even more, with CM you are able to acknowledge an event so that ALL people running other monitors see that 'Mister X' has seen the problem and is working on it ... Nope, this will be available in V1.1 of Console Manager, the planned release is around the April timeframe next calendar year. V1.0 is currently released and shipping on ULTRIX only. Please note that although you can "acknowledge" and "clear" events, this information is not added to the event log for any particular system, we will be adding this "feature" in a future release (after V1.1).
