84.0. "problem when using cm -m <nodename>" by VLNVAX::EMOND () Fri Jun 25 1993 16:23
Hi, I have a strange problem when using cm -m <nodename>. I use to see
it only once in a while, but now, I see it all the time. Once I get to
the Command: prompt, I can't quit/exit or ^C/^Y/^Z or anything I type.
The only way to get out is to login elsewhere and kill the process.
This gets me out of console manager but leaves my terminal setting in a
real mess so I have to log off anyways.
The only thing I can think that I did in the last few days is add 5
systems to the profile bring it up to 87 systems that I manage with
this system. Maybe I need to reconfigure my Kernel with new parameters.
Has this been Qar'ed or been seen before? I'm using CM version:
V1.0-061, btw.

84.1 | New one on me. | OPG::SIMON | | Fri Jun 25 1993 16:47 | 10 |
| Val,
it's a new one on me.
Does not sound like a kernel thing to me ( famous last words!!).
Could you send me your DECterm settings and your user environment settings.
i.e. your default.DECterm file your .cshrc and .login files.
Cheers Simon....
