Our product Manager should be able to tell you this, however, as she has
just been TFSO'd, we were originally planning the next release in January,
but, have had to slip this out to March/April next year, although the
usual disclaimers about this not being a commitment apply here.

Huh? Console Manager isnt Client/Server, it runs on a single host and
manages via serial RS232 lines, so you will only get one release with
all functionality.
Which bits did you think were client and which server?

The standard answer is....
Talk to our Product Manager
However, as she has been TFSO'd and our new one (Jim Ishikawa) hasn't got up
to speed yet, I'll give you some info.
This info is for DIGITAL Internal consumption only, it is not a commitment
by me or the rest of the engineering team and could be changed at any moment
by the upper echelons of the corporation.
OK, disclaimers over...
We plan to release V1.1 Console Manager on ULTRIX MIPS, OSF/1 AXP, OpenVMS VAX
and OpenVMS AXP. Field test is planned to start sometime around October, with
FRS in the April-ish timeframe next calendar year.
We have no reason at this stage to suppose these rough dates will change.
We have a lot of Console Manager running today on all the above platforms
(we can even log data on OSF/1).

| Marc,
as an addition to what Phil said, we are also in the phase of looking for
FT sites for ALL the platforms for V1.1. Both internal and external sites are
appreciated ( I guess you will have a bash at it Marc ;-)) ).
So if you know of any sites out there who might be interested let us know.

Its coming together, we hope to have something before we go to
EFT in October.
We should have a rough cut of the software running on OSF/1 in
time for European DECUS, so if you are there, I will show it to
you.
