Paul,

From within the monitor interface, try typing "BREAK" with the
system you want to halt selected, or "BREAK systemname".

Phil

Can you set up a key sequence to do this from the connect interface?

Paul,

You cant set up a key sequence, we chose to only
implement BREAK in the monitor interface as it is
a potentially dangerous thing to do!

Is it a problem for you to "escape" to the monitor
interface and type "BREAK"? or would you rather see
another control key defineable as a "BREAK" key
  ala VCS?

Cheers,
Phil

I guess I am thinking of the day when Console Manager replaces VCS,
it would be nice to have as few differences as possible.

Typing break is no more dangerous than CONTROL/P !

Ok,

We'll try to put it in the next release, if we have
  the time.

Cheers,
Phil
