53.0. "Commited to Unix ?" by KETJE::SYBERTZ (Marc Sybertz@BRO - 856/7572) Tue Jan 05 1993 15:20

When you look to what are the current Scan profile which
comes by default with the product, you are first surprised
to see that the only one concerning Unix is called
'UNIX System V' ...
and that all other ones concern VAX, HSC hardware and
VMS * ...

More default scan profiles for DECstation hardware,
Unix softwares (Ultrix, SunOS, AIX, ...) are welcome
if you want to stay credible in the Unix world.

Also, I didn't find any documented list of what are
the events for the 'UNIX System V' scan profile.

Marc,

We know we are a little short on events/scans!!

What you see is actually based upon the VCS
Scan/Event data (and event then not all of it
yet). We were/are hoping that our FT sites and
people like yourselves can help us out here and
supply us with some of the scan/event definitions
they have put together for their systems, as we
dont have much here beyond a bunch of VAXes and
  DECstation 5000's!

It sounds as if you have been creating some
events/scans of your own, how about sending them
to me or event posting them here so we can all
  benefit from them.

Cheers,
Phil

I can add some events/scan ... but I would like first
to start with understanding the list of Unix System V
events coming by default with CM.

Do you have any list/doc about it ?
