33.0. "Multiline window notes" by VINO::DBIGELOW (Innovate, Integrate, Evaporate) Mon Oct 12 1992 22:57

1. Still can't seem to get this one working. How do I specify the transport
mechanism? Do I put it in the userdata? For instance, I have enterend
EMGEE in the user-data field. Every once in a while on the screen I will
    see the following:

    Display not opened! (emgee:0.0)

This means that TCPIP is the transport. Can I specify EMGEE::0.0 to specify
    DECNET?

33.1Try host Server Screen TransportOPG::PHILIPAnd through the square window...Tue Oct 13 1992 11:1521
Dave,

The userdata must be of the form :-

    host server screen transport

   e.g emgee 0 0 DECNET

NOTE: these items are seperated by spaces

We default to TCPIP because this is after all Unix

The Single event window works in exactly the same
way with the addition of a timeout value of the form
hh:mm:ss to control when the window gets destroyed
if there is no user acknowledgement.

   e.g. emgee 0 0 DECNET 00:10:00

Cheers,
Phil
