People,

the first draft of the Installation and management guides
are now available in the opg::cm$docs: directory. The document
writers are very keen to get feedback both on acuracy and the
readability and ease of use of the documents, especially the
management guide.

Please feedback either by this notes conference or by mail to:

	wessex::karen (our beloved document writer).

Cheers Simon....

Hi,

The IFT V1.1 kit contains the following documentation:

o Installation Guide - tells you how to prepare for
installing CM, how to install it,
					 and the various postinstallation
					 tasks you need to complete.

o Users' Guide - tells you how to set up CM and manage the
CM host system, how to use CM to manage
the consoles and how to write your
				  own action routines.

As the writer, I'd be very grateful if you could report any problems you
encounter with these books. It may be that information is incorrect,
misleading or even missing.

I'm also responsible for the online help (reference pages, DCL help library and
the gui help). Again, any feedback would be much appreciated!!!

However small you think your feedback is on either the help or the books
or both, then please let me know. I'll be reading this notes conference, or
you can mail me direct on IOSG::CAMPBELLK.

Look forward to hearing from you!!

Karen

Due to a few customer being unable to find the online documentation for
PCM, I have been asked to inform everybody that the documentation is on
the CONOLD distribution and NOT the CONDIS.

It is on disk 1 of the 4 (September distribution, who knows on the next
release) and that you access it using Bookreader.

Cheers,
Phil
