Subj: Re: srequest problems with "secret" - all better
Will, there was no need to explain to osf_developers more detail. Here's
what happened - there was a ~4000 file "drop" of xemacs put into the
xexternal submit pool, and secret was busy chewing away validating files
etc. Its load average went very high and everything slowed down; it had
nothing in particular to do with srequest or mail. Hope that answers
your question.

Hi Josh (and Sue),
I am happy to hear that the "problem" has been fixed, but you
never described the problem... did it involve sending the srequest
via email? Three of us saw that broken on one system and thought
it was a workstation problem... So please describe the problem you
fixed.
Thank you for considering this request.

Hi Josh,
Thanks for the info! Bob's problems mysterious "went away"... We don't
know what happened, but the timing matches the your original email messages?
Have a good weekend!
