Subj: Select Backing Trees unavailable on KGB
Good afternoon,
We have experienced some advfs errors in one of the domains on KGB, the
red segment ode file server. As a result we have to disable the domain
to restore the data. We will be taking the domain down in the next 5
minutes in order to restore the data.
The backing trees that will be unavailable are:
/share/kgb/build/steelx.dsk1: steelcde.bl6 steeldx.bl6 steelx11.bl6
/share/kgb/build/ptcx.dsk6: ptccde.nightly ptcdx.nightly ptcx11.nightly
/share/kgb/build/v40supportcde.dsk6: v40supportcde.nightly
/share/kgb/build/v40supportdx.dsk6: v40supportdx.nightly
/share/kgb/build/v40supportx11.dsk6: v40supportx11.nightly
We apologize for the short notice, but to minimize data corruption and
the risk of the system crashing again, we need to act quickly.
The rest of the backing trees on KGB will not be impacted by this effort
and readily available.
