What pool are you working in? Here's the kernels that are in PTB and PTC:
root@deadwood [54] ls
./ BINARY/ NORITAKE/ bin/ nfs/
../ COBRA/ PELICAN/ bsd/ procfs/
ALCOR/ EB164/ PINKASA/ conf/ sec/
ALPHABOOK1/ EB66PLUS/ PINTAKE/ data/ src/
ALPHAPC64/ FLAMINGO/ RAWHIDE/ dec/ streams/
ALPHAVME224/ GAMMA/ RUBY/ dli/ streamsm/
ALPHAVME320/ GENERIC/ SABLE/ include/ ted/
AVANTI/ INSTALL/ SAS/ io/ ufs/
AVANTI.LITE/ JENSEN/ TAKARA/ kern/ vfs/
AXPPCI33/ LEGO/ TLASER/ lat/
AXPVME64/ MIKASA/ arch/ net/
The support pools have truncated the list to intentionally not build them all,
but you still should be able to specify RAWHIDE.

| Hi Josh,
|
| I succesfully built the kernel but I am confused as
| to which one of the many vmunix produced is the one
| appropriate for rawhides? In the obj directory there
| are the following directories
|
| BINARY FLAMINGO GAMMA GENERIC MIKASA NORITAKE SABLE TLASER
|
| Which one of those contains the vmunix for the rawhides if any?

Being a kernel developer/maintainer I've encountered exactly this problem
enough times that I had to make a repeatable way of finding kernel
information. I've built web page which uses Alex Malone's database of
project->kernel translations. Visit this page at:

Lots of additional info can be found at:
