mksb does indeed exec bco
(i think that is how it creates the first set)

I would try to manually exec bco,
and also do a which bco. To verify
you can exec it.

Is nfs locking running?

If that doesn't help, can I log onto
the machine?

till later,
tina

Tina, thanks. This has apparently helped Mohan - we found that while
outside the workon, PATH found the alpha_UNIX/bin, inside a workon
for the v32c pool, PATH was looking for alpha_ace/bin tools, and so
he added the symlink (that we apparently still use!) in ode3.0/tools
from alpha_ace -> alpha_UNIX.  I told him also to create an alpha_OSF1
because that was relied on at times.
