Piyanai, the right thing to do is to "outdate" the work that's still
outstanding; if you override mksb -undo (with 'rm') then you run the
future risk of bumping into the old work which is still in the rcs
pool, and you also leave "trash" in the rcs pool.

You can find the file which is a problem and outdate it as follows:

	% kinit ...
	% workon -sb <sandboxname>

    if this fails because the sandbox is backed by an old tree that's
    been removed, then "fix" it as follows to be backed by something
    current, eg:

	<as root>
	# /usr/sde/odemount steelos

	<now as you>
	% resb -sb <sandboxname> /usr/sde/osf1/build/steelos

    now you should be able to complete the workon:

	% workon -sb <sandboxname>
	% bcs -u -o -all /* this will remove rcs records as well
				as sandbox records and files */
	% exit

    now you can

	% mksb -undo <sandboxname>

If you want to look first at the file (list) then in the sandbox's
src directory, look at .BCSconfig or .BCSset*

p.s. In the future please send mail to odehelp rather than me directly.
     Thanks...

Hi,

Is there a way to overide deleting a sandbox
which has a record of a file was checked out ?

I have been trying to remove an old sandbox
unsuccessfully because there is a file checked
out. I don't remember what file it was.

Thanks,
Piyanai
