Subj: Re: ode problem for glyons
The steelos.nightly tree is not mounted on your system.
AS root try odemount -v steelos.nightly.

| I suddenly cannot do any ode commands. I was in a sandbox, and attempted to
| do a build, and got an ode error. I got out of the sandbox, and attempted to
| re-enter with a workon, and I got the error below. I logged off and rebooted
| my system, but I am still getting this error when I do a workon. What is
| wrong?
|
| cannot find include file ../link/rc_files/shared.sharedsandbox
| >> FATAL ERROR in workon:
| >> No Access to Backing Tree Through link dir:/tmp_mnt/quarry/home/glyons/sb/
st
| eel7/rc_files/../link
| Error parsing rc description file ./shared
|
|
| I am backed against steelos.nightly. Naturally, I am dead in the water until
| I can get into my sandbox.
|
|
| Thanks for the help.

Subj: Re: ode problem for glyons
Do you usually use automount to get your trees? I saw some other mail that
somebody else was having an automount problem with this particular tree.
That's something that admin has to deal with - out of our control.

| Thanks for the quick response. The odemount worked the second time I tried
| it. The first time, it blew away my window manager and I had to run fsck and
| reboot by hand. However, the second time it came up smoothly.
|
| Why do I suddenly need to mount steelos.nightly? I was in a workon when this
| problem occured, and I had used ode commands this morning without any
| difficulties. Did something change?
|
| Thanks for the help.
