Subj: ode 3.1 'make' command issues in unx
Rich, in zk3, we're still using the old ode3.0 (not 3.1) version of both
/usr/sde/tools/*/bin/make and lib/mk/* from the ode distribution.
Joyce Demers is helping someone (Tom Z) with a build problem on host author
and it looks from the error message (about make and suid) that the new make
is being used.
Here we took these make commands and the mk directory and renamed them as follows:
./tools/alpha_UNIX/bin/make -> ./tools/alpha_UNIX/bin/make-ode3.1
./tools/RISC_ULTRIX/bin/make -> ./tools/RISC_ULTRIX/bin/make-ode3.1
./lib/mk -> ./lib/mk-ode3.1
and put the old ode3.0 versions of make and lib/mk back where they used
to be; could you please do the same to your tools environment for the builds
on author? If you no longer have these, you can snag them from any host in zk.
