Tom,
I believe this is a bug in 'stat' in platinum. Can you please run with
full debug (-debug -verbose -odedebug csv) and file a QAR against
platinum?
If the file exists first, it succeeds, so create a file (either copy
the header from /usr/sde/osf1/headers/header.c into place, or put the
full file in place with the header). Bcreate will leave it alone.
It should also be reported against ODE (with the QAR# would be good),
however I believe I mentioned it once to them (around PT bl10) and they
said it appeared to be in PT. I reported it to PT team but it was not
addressed. I though I'd filed a QAR but I have searched and could not
find it. To report an ode bug, please use this web address:

Hi...
I am trying to create a file in a sandbox backed against ptbos. When I issue the
bcreate I keep getting....
% bcreate ./kernel/bparm/bparm_cfg.c
[ stat indicates that './kernel/bparm/bparm_cfg.c' ]
[ is a directory and not a file. ]
%
What's going on here?
Thanks,
Tom Reu
