Hi,
That has been recycled. The only availabe tree is the ssb one.
If you want to, you can borrow the cd from me again.

I am trying to access the ptos.bl9 backing tree to help debug a critical
problem in PTA.
It's supposed to be on NSA:
doctor[6213]> ls -l ptos.bl9
lrwxr-xr-x 1 root staff 35 Dec 6 1995 ptos.bl9 ->
/share/nsa/build/ptos.dsk4/ptos.bl9
I have the file system mounted:
nsa:/share/nsa/build/ptos.dsk4 on /tmp_mnt/share/nsa/build/ptos.dsk4 type nfs
(v3, ro, hard, intr)
but the ptos.bl9 directory seems to be missing:
doctor[6214]> ls /tmp_mnt/share/nsa/build/ptos.dsk4
quota.group quota.user
which leads to this error when I try to check out a file:
csh[37]> bco -u psiop.c
cannot find include file ../link/rc_files/shared.sharedsandbox
>> FATAL ERROR in bco:
>> No Access to Backing Tree Through link
dir:/sbdisk1/tpb/sandboxes/ptbox/rc_files/../link
Error parsing rc description file ./shared
bco: unable to parse sandbox ptbox
csh[38]>
My link is correct:
csh[35]> ls -l /sbdisk1/tpb/sandboxes/ptbox/rc_files/../link
lrwxr-xr-x 1 tpb staff 28 Jul 25 15:36
/sbdisk1/tpb/sandboxes/ptbox/rc_files/../link ->
/usr/sde/osf1/build/ptos.bl9
csh[36]> ls -l /sbdisk1/tpb/sandboxes/ptbox/rc_files/../link/
/sbdisk1/tpb/sandboxes/ptbox/rc_files/../link/ not found
HELP!

It was there this morning. I am in the middle of trying to debug a problem
that was just discovered that will be a release stopper for PTA. I need to
have access to the ptos.bl9 backing tree (and maybe to bl8) to debug the
problem.
Is there any way to get this restored pronto?
Thanks!

Let me clarify -- the installation CD is useless to me at this point to work
on this problem. While it's remotely possible that the SSB backing tree can
be used to work on this problem, I'd have to investigate what changes have
been made in the affected modules (but I will do that check now and see if I
can use the SSB backing tree).
Good news! The SSB backing tree appears to have the same revisions of the
two files I need as the BL9 backing tree. I'll use that.
I'm sure you sent out mail telling people that the pre-SSB backing trees
were going away -- I was just taken completely by surprise when it went away
right under me in the course of the morning..
