Subj: nsa export fixed (Re: Can't srequest backed by v32de2supportos.nightly)

Rajul, probably as part of debugging a problem with host nsa last week,
the export for hw5os.bl7 (backing the v32de2support pool), was
commented out, as follows:

    # hw5 exports
    #/share/nsa/build/hw5os.dsk1 -root=0 -ro

I've just corrected this; please rerun the odemount and retry the srequest.

Sean,

Still no luck.

Josh,

I get the following error when I odemount the submit tree (had done
this yesterday also):

# odemount v32de2supportos
    Can't access /share/nsa/build/hw5os.dsk1: Permission denied

However, I can cd to /usr/sde/osf1/build/v32de2supportos and look
under that directory just fine.

I odemount'd -u and then odemount'd again w/o success. Perhaps I
need to NFS umount everything and then mount again.

Ok Rajul. You should be able to do a submit request now.

Kathy, I believe that Tom Tresvik should take questions and then will
decide how to "farm them out". Grant Van Dyck is covering for some of
James' pools, and I'm kind of looking out for the others, but formally
requests should go to Tom. The safe thing would be to sent to "tresvik"
and perhaps cc "reng" or "odehelp" (note "odehelp" not "ODE_help").

In this case, I've noticed some global network problem reaching many of
our machines right now; this is probably due to that. I'll have our
operations group look into it right away if they're not already...

- -josh

p.s. Rajul - make sure you have done an "odemount v32de2supportos" --
the submit tree needs to be mounted for srequest & bsubmit; however this
mount may fail right now due to the network problem I mentioned above.

Are you handling these questions while Jim Overman is out? Or does it go to
