Subj: need help with error msg from workon
Hi,
I'm getting the following error msg from workon when I have DCE SIA
enabled (note that I have already run
/usr/sde/tools/`machine`_`uname`/bin/kinit at this point):
strange@squeeze> workon -sb debug
cd'ing to sandbox source directory: /+/usr/sandbox/strange/debug/src.
starting new shell: /bin/csh.
Returned user name invalid: (null)
NOTE: You are in your sandbox.
o This sandbox can only be used for ODE services which don't
require the ODE server (i.e. build, mklinks, etc. ).
To avoid this message use the no kerberos switch:
workon -nk -sb sandbox name
/.../dufs.dfs.zk3.dec.com/fs/usr/sb_disks/sb_disk5/debug/src
If I disable DCE SIA, the workon proceeds normally. Is there any way
I can get more info on how workon is receiving a null user name? What
library function is getting called by workon that would cause this
error?
Thanks for any help/pointers.
Steve
