Hi-

Regarding your home page at secret.zk3.dec.com/rengweb, I'd
like to suggest you rethink the policy of preventing access
by "outsiders" (like me in CSS Merrimack) to certain URLs.
I can see why you might wish to keep some info private
to your domain, but should that apply to ODE man pages,
and Suggestion/Comments?

I'm a former member of the Unix Kernel Development group
(Networking), and I'm trying to find a useful pointer for
a coworker who wants to start proper source control here.
Perhaps I should look elsewhere, but where? I'm looking
to speak with the developer/maintainers of ODE.

TIA.	-Steve

Steve, actually you'd find Digital UNIX specific stuff in our web page;
we have two levels of access; but both require some "need to know", and
I believe our management is in agreement with our current strategy, but
we can take it up for discussion. At least the suggestion box might
be made available to everyone.

In the meantime, you wouldn't really find much of generic help except if
you dug enough you'd find a link to the ODE group's page:

	http://www.zso.dec.com/ode/ODE-Home.html

I responded to mail earlier today to Bill Main in your group, pointing him
to the ODE Development team, and they have responded to him with the
appropriate pointers and info.
