Is this a sign of a screwed up backing tree ? thanks Charlie Katz 1-2465

Friedman OSF/UNIX SDE" To: katz@DEC:.zko.alpha CC: odehelp overman Subj: Re: Problems building an object in v32de1supportos backed sandbox Charlie, if you back to v32de1supportos.nightly, you should be all set. The submit trees don't really have an obj tree, but typically have an obj (and an export) link over to <pool>.nightly. In the case of v32de1support, the obj & export links are incorrect - they point to the original name of the pool, v32d1supportos.nightly, which doesn't exist (anymore). James Overman will be cleaning this up Monday; in the meantime, just "resb v32d1supportos.nightly" and try it again. -josh ------ To: [email protected] Subject: Problems building an object in v32de1supportos backed sandbox Date: Fri, 15 Mar 96 18:24:55 -0500 From: [email protected] X-Mts: smtp Status: R It looks like it immediately cds to ../../obj/alpha/kernel then tries to cd to BINARY but there is no BINARY I looked at link/obj and found that it has nothing below obj (I had hoped to see obj/alpha/BINARY/makefile then I'd just copy that makefile up to my obj/alpha/kernel/BINARY (after I did mkdir BINARY) So what gives ?
