Subj: Re: v32csupportx.nightly backing tree
Nor is it anywhere as the file set was destroyed and is being restored as we
speak.
Here is the status:
inr, the fileserver that holds both v32csupportos.nightly which
is required by v32csupport tree and v32csupport*.bl4 which is
the saved copy of the existing .kitbld tree as well as many
other backingtrees, panic'ed this morning. When that happened
the only domain that was lost was the one that v32csupport
cares about. The other domains did not have any problem with
corruption and automatically remounted when the system came
back up.
We've been working this problem since the system took it's
first panic at 08:49 this morning.
The 'bad' domain has been removed and recreated. It is now
being populated with the correct bits. I'd expect that
if nothing else happens the expected time to finish the backingtree
rules is 22:00 tonight.
When the backingtrees are back into place then folks should
be able to do workons backed to either v32csupportos or
v32csupportos.kitbld. Remember that all submits that are
to be shipped in the tar file that is being built now must
be double submitted into both pools.
Also note that when the v32csupportos.kitbld build is done
the resultant files will be v32csupportos.kitbld/output
and _not_ in the v32csupportos.nightly tree.
