The bci command dumped core. bci -m"Initial Coding" Lat/accept_test_proc_platinum_020296.tar [ ./Lat/accept_test_proc_platinum_020296.tar ] [ scanning for HISTORY messages ] Memory fault(coredump) Do you think it could be because of the size of the tar file or do you think I should not submit tar files? I tried to compress it and submit and I get the error: bci -m"Initial Coding" Lat/accept_test_proc_platinum_020296.tar.Z [ ./Lat/accept_test_proc_platinum_020296.tar.Z ] [ unable to access source control information in file: "./Lat/accept_test_proc_platinum_020296.tar.Z,v" ] Here are the sizes of the files: -rw-r--r-- 1 root system 57886720 Feb 8 22:50 accept_test_proc_platinum _020296.tar -rw-r--r-- 1 vv develop 17214236 Feb 9 00:03 accept_test_proc_platinum _020296.tar.Z Let me know what the size limit is on the files. The tar archive is of LAT tests which I wish to place in the qaqc pool. The directory does not currently exist in the qaqc src pool since I requested that it be removed until I understand if I can put tar files or not. You can run gen_ptt from your workon. I think, though, what happened is that the comment leader on this file was not set to "BIN". You can change this via bcs -cBIN file. If you do a blog on the file, it should tell you the comment leader. At any rate, bci shouldn't dump core.
