Subj: trying to add to SYMLINKS - QAR 32201
Hi, I'm trying to get a modification to ./usr/ccs/lib/Makefile
in for pre-BL11 to close qar 32201:
NO SYMBOLIC LINK FOR /USR/CCS/LIB/LIBRT.A IN /USR/LIB
I've modified the Makefile and placed it on flume
~tabor/buildhelp/Makefile
in August, I tried to test the build before going for a
submit, and I could not get the link to "take".
i used libaio as a model, and added librt in two places in
the Makefile, that is, the SYMLINKS list, and the export
directory list.
Any ideas on how I can test if this Makefile fixes the problem
prior to submitting the fix?
Please let me know ASAP due to the time crunch - ppt has given
me permission to add the fix to pre-BL11.
Thanks,
Blue Tabor

We can plop it in the shadow. Or I could try it by hand in the
shadow. The link that you want is not made at build time; but rather during
the install phase of the build.
