Subj: 	Important Update on NSA ODE Server Availability

We have determined that NSA has a CPU problem that will require a full 
replacement of the CPU board.  As a result the system has gone down 5 
times today and we are unable to bring it back up at this time. Field 
Service is locating us a new CPU board for replacement.  

The backing trees served by NSA will not be available today.  Since we 
are not sure how quickly Field Service can locate a cpu replacement, we 
are working on alternate strategies to provide NSA's backing trees to 
the engineering community. Additional status will be sent as soon as 
NSA's backing trees are made available.

We have experienced some problems with NSA, the green segment ODE
server, over the lunch hour.  The machine is currently up, however,
while we continue to troubleshoot the problem, we recommend you take
into consideration the following:

        1. /usr/sde tools access for green segment in ZK3

                If you currently are mounting /usr/sde from nsa, please
                switch to wasted, the alternative green segment ode
                server.

                wasted: green-net (IP address 16.140.32.*) - ZK3-3

                If you are unsure what server you should be using for
                your segment, consult /usr/sde/disks/ode.servers, from
                any production machine.


        2. the following backing trees are served by NSA
